Historic Window Tour of the Madison, Indiana National Landmark Historic District & Hands-On Workshop with Window Experts SAVE THAT SASH! Historic Window Tour & Hands-on Workshop Oh no! They’re glopped with paint, splintered with cracked glass, drafty, and have been jammed shut as long as you can remember. If that describes any part of the windows in your historic house, then you won’t want to miss this event. Here’s your chance to discover the secrets of how to make your old windows function and energy-efficient while saving you plenty of money not replacing them. Experts will be on hand to show you all you need to know to save your windows! As an added bonus, there’s a guided trolley tour to see the amazing array of historic window styles in Madison’s National Historic Landmark District. Limited spots are available. A $50 registration fee includes all materials, lunch on Saturday, and the trolley tour. This program has been made possible through a Historic Preservation Education Grant from Indiana Landmarks, Indiana Humanities, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Historic Madison, Inc. has partnered with the City of Madison Preservation Office, the Cornerstone Society, and Madison Main Street to deliver this program to the public.
