Volunteer event to assist in apartment set-ups through Exodus Refugee in the beginning of 2022! Hello everyone! We are closing in on the finish line of the Afghan housing set up journey. We have housing set-up projections from today into the next couple of months. You all have worked so hard serving our clients in various capacities, and I speak for all of Exodus when I say that we are incredibly grateful. Thanks so much in advance for the generosity of your time and energy! I know that many of us are tired. This is the point where we press through and see this to the end. Please look at the following volunteer opportunities for housing set-ups: Date: Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 Time: 9A - 3PM Location: Exodus Refugee (2457 E Washington St. Ste. A Indianapolis, IN 46201) 5 Volunteers Needed Task Description (PLEASE READ FULLY): Assist in setting up the housing for refugee clients. Please plan on being at the Exodus office (2457 E Washington St. Ste. A Indianapolis, IN 46201) at 9AM. We will begin by spending our time loading the truck at the Exodus warehouse for the families in need. After this, we will each drive to the appropriate locations and completely unload the trucks in the proper apartments to furnish the households. This task will require moderate levels of physicality. Please plan on wearing warm clothes (it is sometimes cold in the warehouse/outside during the setup) and closed-toed shoes. You may also want to wear clothes that you're okay with accumulating dust. Date: Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 Time: 9A - 3PM Location: Exodus Refugee (2457 E Washington St. Ste.
