Join us for this special evening... Every year around January 25th lovers of literature, the Scottish isles, and the wonderful whiskies of the region gather together to celebrate the birth of the poet Robert Burns. Burns Night events have grown from an annual remembrance held by friends and compatriots of the poet to a worldwide phenomenon celebrated in every corner of the globe and enjoyed on every continent (including multiple Antarctic suppers). It is generally an evening of feasting, poetry, toasts, and of course scotch. This year Vine & Table wishes to invite you to celebrate Burns Night with us and Sean Lothridge of Bruichladdich. Many of our frequent guests will be quite familiar with Sean. He is a 23 year veteran of the industry who has hosted numerous tastings with us over the years. Now he will be complementing his vast scotch knowledge with traditional snacks, games, and a wee bit of Bruichladdich’s best to help make this a Burns Night to remember. Not to be outdone, I have promised to brush off my old oratorical skills to recite a poem or two in honor of the event (But please don’t let that dissuade you). The event will begin at 6:30PM and seating is limited. In celebration of Robert Burns Night we're offering 20% off all Scotch at Vine & Table this night and ALL WEEK LONG! January 24th - 30th.
