Join Eric & David as they take you through the house and all the way up to the top in this celebration of the Grand Staircase at Belcourt!
Originally designed by the famous American architect Richard Morris Hunt for divorced playboy and horse lover Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont, the house went through a metamorphosis after he gave the place to his second wife, the former Alva Vanderbilt!
See the careful restoration by the current owner, jewelry designer Carolyn Rafaelian, and marvel at the 13th century stained glass up in our baronial hall!
Our tour guides, Eric & David, have been haunting the halls of Belcourt since Carolyn bought it in 2012, soaking up the stories and the history and witnessing the restorative process firsthand.
The tours are 45-50 minutes long.
A guided 50-minute tour of Belcourt, a summer villa-stable built in 1894 by Oliver Belmont and carefully restored by Carolyn Rafaelian.
