Lion Craft is looking for Millworkers/Upholsterers/Shop Helpers with experience or willing to learn cabinetry/furniture making (we are willing to train the right candidate). Some basic knowledge in cabinetry/millwork or upholstery would be beneficial but is not required. This is a physically demanding job requiring sweeping/cleaning, lifting heavy materials, loading/unloading job materials, milling, sanding and more. Pay will depend on experience and there is room to advance. Requirements: Punctual: Arrive on time Follow the safety rules, procedures, laws and job requirements. Must be able to wear dust masks, respirators, ear protection, safety glasses and gloves and other PPE as required for certain tasks. Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License & insurable. Physically fit: Able to lift 25-75 lbs throughout the day, occasionally up to 100 lbs. and work standing up throughout the day. Proficient with basic hand tools, table saw, chop saw, sanders, drill, jig saw, router, pin gun, nail gun, stapler, etc. Able to read tape measures, read layouts, follow instructions, & problem solve Ability to work in a team or independently without constant supervision. If you have no millworking or upholstery experience necessary, WE WOULD LOVE TO TRAIN YOU!! We are a Felony Friendly/Second Chance employer!!
