Plant Land, the Flathead Valley’s leading garden center, has an opening for the coming 2022 season in our Custom Planting department. The position runs from late February to late June, Monday through Friday, 9-4pm with potential for flexible hours. Additional hours in the retail department would be available for other months of the year. Requirements: this position will have a one season training period with the person in the current job and a second season with same if needed. Some knowledge of plants, especially annuals, is necessary. Good design skills are a plus. Job requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This is a must. Greenhouse experience is a plus. This is a training position so some skills will be taught and everyone interested is encouraged to apply. Must be able to perform physical work and work standing most of the workday. The position is located at Plant Land’s Trumble Creek Farm, between Kalispell/Columbia Falls and Whitefish.
