TAMPA, FL — To better serve Florida, which has the fourth-largest construction volume in the country, Procore Technologies Inc. has opened an office in Tampa to serve as its official hub in the Southeast. Procore Technologies Inc. is a leading global provider of construction management software, ranked as the No. 1 construction project management software by the 2021 JBKnowledge Construction Technology Report. The company provides software for bid managements, design coordination, project financials, project management and other construction services. The company said placing its Southeastern U.S. hub in Tampa will allow it to provide more in-region support to customers in the rapidly developing Florida market, build partnerships with local universities and broaden its talent pool to attract people from all backgrounds. During a recruiting event Dec. 15, the company filled more than 50 positions at its Tampa office including sales development representatives, sales development managers and customer support representatives, said Bill Crawford, senior vice president of sales at the Tampa office. More than one million projects and more than $1 trillion in construction volume have run on Procore's platform for owners, general contractors and specialty contractors. Headquartered in Carpinteria, California, the new Tampa office is located at 501 E Kennedy Blvd.
