Are you overwhelmed by the sheer amounts of plastic found in your kitchen, but don't know what to use in its place? In this make & take workshop, Christina will facilitate a hands-on demonstration of how to make lovely, reusable, and eco-conscious beeswax wraps to replace plastic wrap. You will learn about each of the materials used and why. When you leave this workshop, you'll have the power (and skill) to be able to eliminate plastic wrap from your kitchen forever! This workshop will last approximately 1 hour. Price includes instruction and education on the materials used during this DIY and one beeswax wrap (up to a 12" size wrap). You will receive a link to access a recap of the class, beeswax solution ingredients, and more. If you'd like to make additional beeswax wraps to take home, you can do so for $5 each.*An extra processing fee is added to the price per ticket at checkout *Masks will be required to wear to in person events* FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? As long as you can use scissors (pinking sheers) to cut fabric, use a paint brush, and be around hot wax, you're welcome to participate in this class! Anyone 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. What can I bring into the event? Have an idea of the size of beeswax wrap you'd like to make. Think about where you'd like to replace your plastic wrap. Do you need something airtight to cover a mason jar? A bowl of leftovers in the fridge? A sandwich that you usually wrap in Saran wrap and take to school/work/the park? Just think about all the things you use plastic wrap on and make a list of the dimensions you'd like to make. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can contact Christina at [email protected]. What's the refund policy? If you are unable to make this event, you can be refunded up to 7 days before the event for a full refund. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, we'll just be checking for the name and e-mail address that registered for the workshop. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes, we'll just need the name and e-mail address that registered for the workshop.
