Press release from the Metropolitan Police Department: January 18, 2022 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public's assistance in identifying suspects in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishment offense that occurred on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in the 1600 block of New York Avenue, Northeast. At approximately 8:22 pm, the suspects entered an establishment at the listed location. Two of the suspects brandished handguns and demanded US currency from register. The victim complied and the suspects then fled the scene.
