Press release from the City of Long Beach: January 19, 2022 Please be advised, a work session of the City Council has been scheduled for Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 7pm to discuss the installation of parking meters in the central business district and for a presentation from the prospective bidder for the project. Due to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, the City Council may not be meeting in-person. In accordance with New York State Law, the January 20, 2022 City Council work session may be held via videoconferencing, and a transcript will be provided at a later date.
