Beatles Tribute Band seeking 'Ringo' Drummer.   Chicago based Beatles Tribute Band seeks musician to portray 'Ringo' in a nationally touring Beatles tribute show that recreates a live Beatles concert complete with full production, costuming, special effects and multimedia. The band accurately portrays the Beatles in all eras of their music including the Ed Sullivan, Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road eras. Currently performing around 25-35 shows year round in performing arts centers, casinos, festivals and private events around the country as well as the local Chicago area.  General Description A 'Ringo' Beatles Tribute Performer is able to perform and emulate 'Ringo' in all eras of the Beatles music and appearance accurately. The position requires the performer to be well versed in playing drums / percussion and singing lead and background vocals / harmonies. The performer will utilize a vintage Ludwig 'Oyster Black Pearl' drum set (provided by the band) and will be performing in costumes - including suits, wigs and makeup. The performer must be physically able to wear costumes sized for an average build (approx. 42 jacket / 34 waist or smaller). The performer must have a flexible schedule that is able to fulfill the band's touring and rehearsal dates. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experiences in the field of performing, theatrical stage experience, stage operations in a professional show.  Job Duties and Responsibilities * Accurately and consistently executing the classic 'Ringo' sounds including drums, lead vocal and background harmony singing heard throughout the Beatles discography. * Assisting the band with equipment setup/breakdown. * Assist with operations on stage. * Utilizing vintage Ludwig drums provided by the band. * Utilizing vintage reissue costuming provided by the band. * Maintaining costuming - dry cleaning, makeup, etc.  * Must have a flexible and open schedule with no other performing conflicts. * Must be able to fulfill the band's performance and rehearsal dates.
