Description
MIDDLETOWN, CT — The City of Middletown will hold a drive-through N95 mask distribution from 12 noon to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, at Middletown High School on Saturday, Jan. 22.
Middletown High School is located at 200 LaRosa Lane in Middletown. Proof of Middletown residency is required (Government issued ID or mail with city address).
Mayor Benjamin Florsheim issued an executive order on Jan. 6 requiring the use of masks at all times while in public indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status.
"Masking is a critical public health tool for preventing spread of COVID-19 according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention," officials wrote in a news release. "A properly fitted respirator mask like an N95 offers a higher level of protection against the highly transmissible Omicron variant."
