MERIDEN - A Meriden resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Wallingford earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On January 19, the big winner from Meriden, purchased a Super Cashword 22 ticket from the Corner Shoppe in Wallingford and won $50,000.
