Description
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Update, 10:50 a.m.: All lanes have reopened on Rt. 35.
As if the freezing rain that has now turned to snow wasn't enough of a headache on New Jersey roads Thursday:
All lanes of Rt. 35 in both directions are currently closed in Woodbridge as of 9:45 a.m., due to a downed pole and downed wires on the roadway, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Rt. 35 south of Rt. 27 in Woodbridge is entirely closed. Follow detour or plan alternate route.
It is not immediately known what brought the pole and wires down.
