GROTON, CT - A Groton resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On January 19, Patricia Colgan, of Groton, purchased a 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket from the Big Y World Class Market in Groton and won $30,000.
