Pop Tart is a svelte 10-years young black and white chichi who’s just as sweet as her name implies. And like the flaky pastry, she likes to stay toasty warm. Sweaters, blankets and snuggles are totally her jam. This little lady enjoys hanging out near her humans, perfectly happy to settle into your orbit and not always needing to be on your lap. Winning her over is easy with a scratch on the back, and once she gets to know you better, she gives tiny kisses! Pop Pop used to have an owner but when they passed away, she had to go to the shelter. Even though it must’ve been so scary for her, she was an instant hit with staff and volunteers. Dog-tolerant and unphased by cats, she’d be an ideal companion for a calm fur-friend, but she’s also fine on her own as long as her people are around. She’s great company for human friends too, child-friendly with excellent car and leash manners. What we love about Pop Tart: She spins around and tries to catch her tail when she’s excited. It’s ADORABLE! She’s not a barker. She’ll speak a couple times to make her point, and then she’s done. She’s house broken (and asks to go out by standing at the door). Also puppy-pad trained. And she happily sleeps in her crate at night. What Pop Tart would love in her Furever Fam: Sweaters, short walks, fuzzy blankets, and people who are home to hang out with her.
