NASHUA, NH — Tens of thousands of customers in both Nashua and Milford can now access fiber Internet from Consolidated Communications. The company is offering Fidium Fiber Internet to another 25,000 households in both communities. Fidium Fiber Internet features speeds that are five times faster in Nashua and seven times faster speeds in Milford than current options at $70 per month. "Fidium Fiber makes getting the internet as simple as using the internet," Erik Garr, the president of consumer and small business for Consolidated Communications, said. "Fidium's network is 100 percent fiber, the in-home WiFi experience is excellent, and the entire user experience has been thoughtfully curated to ensure the customer is the focus of everything we do." Garr said the service was available without data caps, contracts, or required bundles. The $70 per month fee includes installation and wi-fi equipment. The company has a home management app that "provides network visibility, time-of-day access control, age-appropriate content settings, speed tests, and more," Garr said. The company has been expanding throughout New Hampshire for the past year including another 22,000 homes in Nashua in the coming weeks.
