NASHUA, NH — A Bay State man is facing up to seven years in prison and fines after being accused of forgery on Tuesday. Police arrived and spoke to the suspect — Robson Silva, 22, of Mullin Avenue in Quincy, Massachusetts. Police interviewed bank employees and confirmed the check was fraudulent, according to Lt. Patrick Hannon of the Nashua Police Department. Silva was then arrested. "Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation," he said. "Silva was interviewed and admitted to presenting a fraudulent check to Enterprise Bank." Silva faces a single felony forgery count and up to seven years in prison if convicted, as well as fines. He was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
