Event Lighting Company Needing Part-Time Help for Event Lighting Work

Established, but rapidly growing entertainment and production company in Charleston is seeking reliable and trustworthy part-time contractors to assist with lighting jobs for the upcoming event season. You must: - have reliable transportation - be available on weekend mornings and nights - be able to lift at least 25-50 pounds - willing to climb a ladder up to 15 feet. You may be responsible for picking up and dropping off equipment at our storage facility as well which is compensated. Average job for setting lights and equipment and breaking down is 3-5 hours. Majority of work will be Friday thru Sunday, with occasional Thursday setups. Setup is usually in the morning hours and breakdown is typically around 10pm or later. Previous lighting/event experience is a plus but not a requirement. Showing up on time, being professional in both appearance and actions, and courteous are a must. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to supplement their income with seasonal, weekend, part-time work. Looking to fill multiple positions. For the right person, this could be a full time position (2-3 days per week 9-10 months per year but compensated as full time position) Travel outside of the greater Charleston area will be compensated.
