Manufacturing Company looking to hire a Material Planner for a contracted opportunity! Job Purpose: The Material Planner works closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to complete the demand and supply plan for direct materials for Pre-series production Builds. This role will determine order quantities of direct materials using MRP best practices and build a robust supply plan minimizing on-hand inventory and maximizing usable product shelf life throughout the supply chain. This individual will monitor KPIs relevant to their span of control to provide feedback to other BC stakeholders as well as feedback to their own work. Shift: 1st shift 7a or 8a start time Pay: $27.00hr Responsibilities • Monitor inventory, forecasting, and scheduling parts • Delivering status on material coverage, run-out reports on materials, and other analyses as needed to plan production and business targets. • Coordinating suppliers ramp up and down for new product launches and continued production targets. • Support material requirements from Manufacturing and Engineering • Apply analytics and supply chain expertise to meet target inventory and service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescence. Requirements • 2+ years of experience within Manufacturing, Demand and or inventory. • Experience with material stocking, identification, and record keeping. • Basic MS office skills - basic experience with data entry into Excel • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to accommodate the change to timeline or focus.
