During Trumps term the democrats did a remarkable job shutting Trump down. He was able to accomplish next to nothing while in office. This made his own supporters frustrated and angry with him. Hence low approval. The same is happening to Biden. The republicans are doing everything in their power to stiffle Bidens progress. This is angering and frustrating the democrats. Hence low approval. This is the state of modern politics. Diplomacy is dead. Bipartisanship does not exist. There is no common. ground between parties. For this reason, I cannot imagine any leader having strong approval ratings again.
