NOW HIRING TECHNICIAN'S FOR MAIL COMPANY IN COPPELL TX!!! **ENTRY LEVEL EXPERIENCE WITH MACHINE SETUP AND BASIC TOOL KNOWLEDGE**REMAINING TRAINING PROVIDED** *Shift - 3rd (9:30 pm to 6:00 am non-month end, 6:00am to 6:00 pm month end times). **WILL TRAIN ON 1ST FOR A FEW WEEKS** *Days – Monday through Friday non-month end days, **Mondays through Sunday MONTH END & PEAK DAYS *Starting salary - $18.00, HAVE EXPERIENCE? PAYRATE COULD INCREASE *steel toe shoes required, temp to hire for the right candidate. TOOLS USED: Allen wrenched Set-up tool Volt meter Basic hand tools Drill press Lathe JOB DUTIES: • Responsible for mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including: printers, conveyors, and mail sorting equipment. • Completes preventative maintenance. • Responds to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency. • Consistently utilizes inventory systems and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory. • Evaluates and assesses equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner. • Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment. • Minimum of one year of experience in maintaining, repairing, or installing mailing or comparable equipment. • Experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment. Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures • Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment. • Minimum of one year of experience in maintaining, repairing, or installing mailing or comparable equipment. • Experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment. • Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures. • AAS Electronics degree or equivalent work experience. • Strong customer service skills. • Flexible schedule and overtime required. • Significant amount of standing, walking, and lifting at least 50 pounds required. • Other shop duties as assigned.
