Rosewood Park Apartment is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. Painter Duties and Responsibilities: Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces Sand down or clean surfaces before applying paint Patch walls and perform other prep tasks as necessary Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.) Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner Preparing the surrounding area by Taping off areas as needed covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project Removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers Assist with drywall hanging Clean spray nozzles, brushes, and all other equipment at the end of your shift Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions Painter Requirements and Qualifications: Ideal Candidates must be able to take direction but work independently Commercial or industrial painting experience (preferred) Physical stamina to perform tasks Comfortable working on tall ladders Attention to detail is a MUST! Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English A valid driver's license and an insured, operable vehicle A High School diploma or equivalency certificate Able to pass a full credit and background check *Apply in person, NO phone call will be accepted.
