Description

ELECTRIC CONDOR Looking for bass player for a gigging, all original, modern Dancy alt/garage "rock" band, with a little national exposure, and a lot of experience. Please make sure all this stuff works for you. We’re moving forward fairly fast and will meet with people right away. We have an album, a few singles, and a few more singles ready to go. Along with shows already booked and more to come. We play out almost every weekend. ( I hate trying to describe what it sounds like, so just hit up the links below, there is a lot of Strokes,BRMC,QOTSA type influence, but not limited to ) -previous experience playing shows and being in bands would be very helpful....ambition is great, and can count for a lot more than technical prowess, but this won't be a great gig for "hobbyist". Please have SOME previous band and recording experience and ad links to your reply email. Also, Male or Female doesn't matter, We're looking for Talent, drive and ambition. -It would help if you were an active member of the music scene or at least someone who still goes to shows, hangs out at bars, is friends with musicians and such -A good rig is necessary. A rig strong enough to be heard over drums and guitar without needing to be mic'd ( full stack,8x10,4x10,600-1000W). The songs aren't complicated, but getting the right sound can be.A Gritty fuzzy bass tone is what we're looking for. Think like Muse, Royal blood, Kyuss, Death from aboveand Spoon. -Transportation is necessary, for you and rig. Travel to and from shows can be arranged differently, but getting gear, and your body, to and from practice is a must. We have a Practice space at Sound Structure studios behind the Walnut Room bar. We split the room with another musician and our half is $277. If whoever comes abaord would like to keep their rig there then we like to split our half three ways. This allows full access to the space, any day, any time. We practice three days a week, Tues,Thurs,Sat. Once the Songs are learned, we can go to two days a week. We like to have at least two "show rehearsals" before a show. That's where we get our timing and breaks and such down like we are actually playing a show. -Financially you should be able to cover the costs of what you need. Strings and repairs and such. Band expenses are split between the drummer and I. If you want in on those your are more than welcome. -I hate to have to type this, but society being what it is, and as divided as it is, I have to. If you voted for 45, and or think vaccines and masks are an insult on your "liberties" then probably best you don't reply. We are lefties.....big time, in every way. CONGRATULATIONS, you made it this far! I know this sounds like a lot, but we are both very driven and realistically would like to make this something bigger than just playing local shows. other then that, our link tree account is linktr.ee/electriccondor That should get you everything we have for social media. If this sounds like something you might be capable and willing to pursue, hit me up, and we'll chat -BONUS POINTS if you have any background in Graphic Design, and video production. ............MAKE SURE TO PUT "ZIMA RULZ" in the title of your email....cause that's ridiculous and NO ONE would ever send an email with that title.... If you fail to do this the email will be deleted immediately.
