It is a great PT position w/ the flexibility to adjust the schedule to meet your needs, if you complete your assigned stores between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm / M-F = no weekends! 😊 Part Time Retail Sales Representative needed for the Convenience Solutions Dedicated team calling on approx. 96 convenience stores and 3 Big Box locations every 8 weeks. It is recommended that an approximate average of 17-20 hours per week be applied toward executing assignments, which includes drive time parameters. Expectation is that the territory is 100% completed within the defined 8 week cycle. C-Stores will have up to 4 clients and be seen once a cycle. Big Box Stores will have 1 client and be seen either weekly or bi-weekly. Attributes required: • Expectation is that all stores are stores in territory are 100% completed within a defined 8 weeks. • Prior sales experience crucial to the fulfillment of this position • Ability to approach store management and influence purchasing, ordering, cut in new items and correction of low or OOS and to pack out product in. • Ability to seek opportunities to sell/place secondary displays. • Must be able to follow and execute weekly route schedule management will provide. • Candidate MUST be flexible to change and shifts in accordance with client’s priorities. • Sales and merchandising experience with a broker is a plus • Basic skills with Microsoft Office highly desirable • Written and verbal communications required. • Weekly E-mail communication required. • Work Stores/hours between 6:00am- 5:00pm Monday thru Friday • No Weekend or night work permitted. • Rep must have reliable transportation that can transport sales call tools- POS-display materials for all clients. • Mileage rate is.28 cents a mile. • Commute Drive time and commute mileage is NOT paid unless over 40 miles/60 minutes • Weekly maps/routes will be created to assist reps in scheduling/working routes to minimize drive time and mileage. Rep will be required to use and follow. Dress code is business casual, which includes khakis or dress slacks and polos or button downs. Rep must be prepared for a 4 day training process, with up to 3 days spent with supervisor for new hire training. Minimum of 1 quarterly work with is required with supervisor, with potential for more depending on supervisor availability. No weekend or night work is permitted without supervisor approval.
