The essential functions of this position consist of property inspections, property repairs, violations, meter readings, and daily communication to our corporate office. Job Summary: As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for managing and completing property service requests. You must be able to complete assigned tasks, work orders, and service requests in a timely manner independently. You will conduct move in and move out inspections, preventative maintenance, and coordinate with the Maintenance Coordinator. You will also be working closely with the Customer Experience team, who coordinates with residents for access permissions. We will provide the tools, but you will need to use your own personal vehicle to travel between job sites. If you have your own tools, you are more than welcome to use those as well. Weekly allowance provided for gas. What You Will Do: Provide customer centric service. Conduct maintenance requests that consist of minor plumbing, carpentry, handyman, A/C, lighting, equipment, emergency, and electrical issues. Complete all assigned tasks and projects efficiently and timely. Perform park owned home inspections. Inspect exterior lots. Report safety and security concerns to the Maintenance Coordinator and Customer Experience team. Monitors cleanliness of property grounds and landscaping. Receive and complete assigned work orders daily. Attend weekly staff meetings via Google Meets. Coordinates daily with the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure work order and repair completion. Assist the Maintenance Coordinator with assigning vendors. General Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2+ years experience in the Residential Maintenance field. Organized and punctual. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure. Must be able to multitask and work independently. Needs to be able to work strongly with a team. Must know how to operate technology (flip phones aren't welcome here!) Candidate needs reliable transportation and a working phone that has Internet access. Must have knowledge in the following areas: Basic Plumbing (faucets, toilets, garbage disposal, irrigation, etc…) Carpentry (Painting, drywall, caulking) General Electrical Some Appliance experience and experience General handyman skills Schedule: Job Type: Full-time ( 40 hour week) Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Exciting Benefits and Pay: $50 Weekly allowance for gas and technology 401(K) 401(K) Matching Monthly Health/Dental/Vision Contribution Company sponsored vacation program Paid time off Growth Opportunities Pay: $18 - $20 per hour ** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING, PLEASE EMAIL YOUR RESUME.**
