Rex is a 9 month old chocolate Merle bandogge pup. This guy has the ultimate personality. He is confident and not shy at all but is incredibly sweet, laid back and affectionate. He is a natural with children and absolutely loves them. He has been raised with 3 children all under the ages of 4 and I cannot brag enough about how amazing, patient and gentle he is with them. He loves the park and just soaks up all of the attention he gets. Everyone who meets him is just smitten with him (at least those that aren’t too afraid of his looks). He would be a perfect service dog for children or elderly, in fact we had planned on taking him to nearby nursing homes but because of the covid outbreak visitors weren’t aloud so we did not get to do it. Despite his size he is very gentle, does not jump and in general he has good manners and walks well on a leash. Indoors he is very chill and is happy to just take a nap. We’ve never had issues with him using the bathroom inside or chewing on things but as a disclaimer we never leave our animals alone in the house. Our dogs are outside at night to watch the property. We are letting Rex go because we have had a hard time getting him to leave our livestock alone so we don’t recommend a home with small livestock though he is fine with cattle and horses. Last night he somehow managed to get into our bird coop and killed half of our guinea fowl flock so unfortunately it’s time for him to go. He does have a leg injury from being accidentally ran over that messed up his back right leg so it does look a little funny and it does affect the way he walks and runs. Some of the breeds in his bloodlines are Cane Corso, Boerboel, Neapolitan mastiff, Alapaha blue blood bulldog and dogue de Bordeaux We paid a very pretty penny for him and his rehoming fee is not cheap
