Machine Operator/Beam Saw Lange Bros. Woodwork Co., Inc., is a manufacturer of quality architectural woodwork in Beecher and Milwaukee, WI. We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator/Beam Saw/Rip saw, Moulder Operator. This is a full time position--hours are 6 am to 4:30 pm M-F with additional hours available. Skilled Production Workers duties include but are not limited to: Has mastered the operation of a specific machine or process in woodworking (Ex: Schelling, Rip Saw, Cold Pressing, Edgebander, or CNC Operator) Knows how to set up his own machine Ability to set up machinery such as table saw, overhead routers, drill press, shaper, chop and cut off saws Ability to operate a variety of hand tools including drills, screw guns, hand routers, trimmers, staple gun and belt sander Developing the ability to read shop drawings To complete a project from cutting bills or delivery tickets produced by others General clean-up of cabinets and millwork (such as sanding, cleaning, etc.) Prior experience on a millwork shop floor and knowledge of the woodworking process Finishing sanding of wood products and knowing which grit of sand paper to use on different materials Handling and storage of material Helping others as needed Inform Lead person when projects are completed Need to be able to work independently Quality control of material and workmanship Ability and willing to work 50+ hours (with overtime pay) Strong communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere We offer competitive wages and benefits.
