Description

Loving ❤ Dogs to Good home. Detailed description( Background) Male Brown Chihuahua I adopted in May of 2020. His name is Shag although he doesn't have hardly any fur lol. He was my grandparents Dog. They had adopted shag from a very abusive home and he was a full adult at the time. He lived with them up until my grandad died first and then my grandmother in May 2020 from Covid. Shag has lived with me, my husband, our daughter, another female dog and a male cat. Due to him being abused before my grandparents first adopted him he was still very docile and fearful of humans even after living with them for over ten years. When I recieved him I noticed when he is approached he cowers to the floor in fear. However he will approach you for pets and rubs as long as you are sitting or squatting and make no sudden movements and encourages him. Since he's been here I have also noticed that he finds safety in his crate/kennel. When he is out of the Kennel please leave the cage open this helps shag feel more secure and safe because he has a place to retreat to. He is also very vocal he sometimes has conversations with us lol he uses a high pitched yelp to communicate lol I think shag would be best with a home with elderly persons or persons with no children that has time to really work with him. I dont know how old shag is or his medical history. My grandparents had him for 10 years and I had him for 2 years. I have noticed that he may have some dental problems as well. He is otherwise healthy and not food aggressive. His has not been fixed. He is really a great pet. Female Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix Her name is Piper. My husband gifted me piper for mothers day in 2018 she was 6 weeks old then. She has a black coat with brown underbelly. She didn't take the fluff from her mother and she isn't as short haired as her dad. She's in between. She is a very sweet girl very food motivated, loves to play fetch, and loves children. She is also very curious lol and loves the trash can so make sure she can't get into it. She is easy to kennel when needed using the term "go to crate" She is almost 4 years old in March. She has been the vet and recieved some vaccinations and treatments. She has lived with other dogs, a cat, and children. She is not viscious or food aggressive and is eager to please her human. She is overall healthy, she has not been fixed but has never mated or had puppies and has a good appetite. I hate to have rehome but I'm packing up my place to relocate, and I dont have the time for them anymore. If I'm not doing right by them then I am abusing them and I refuse to abuse God's creatures. I was going to give them away free... However since people tend to take free animals and do gruesome things with them. I'm asking for a $100 dollar rehoming fee for each pet. However if you take both the fee will be $150 for them. I want to make sure they go to good homes.
