Description

Responsible for preventative HVAC maintenance for assigned buildings and equipment. The maintenance technician must ensure that equipment is operating properly; troubleshoot breakdowns; perform all preventive maintenance on schedule. This individual will be working independently most of the time. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19. Key Responsibilities: * Scheduling of maintenance and repair of building equipment. * Participates in meetings to provide recommendations to improve service and operations. * Performs projects as directed in an efficient, professional manner including planning, coordinating and completion of assigned projects * Communicates with tenants' management teams with full explanation if a project cannot be completed during that job site visit and provides a plan of action and proposed time frame for completion. * Initiates any appropriate work request as required. * Responds to emergency service calls as directed by supervisor. Education & Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Read and Speak English * Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in maintenance field. Physical: * Must be able to lift between 5 lbs to 75 lbs at floor level and above shoulder height or pull up to 500 lbs on a cart * Ability to climb, carry and set up ladders up to and including 40 ft extension ladder or 12 ft step ladder. * Ability to work unsupervised * Ability to drive a vehicle or stand for long periods of time. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19
