Position: Fleet Maintenance Mechanic Department: Fleet Maintenance - Shop Reports To: Fleet Service Manager Job Type: Full time, Exempt Role (Overview of the Position) ● Responsible for vehicle, trailer, and equipment repairs. Ensuring that all vehicles, trailers, and equipment is safe to operate. Maintaining equipment logs and history of repairs. Stocking inventory and keeping shop clean and organized. Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role) ● Repair vehicles, trailers, and equipment ● Maintain equipment logs and history of repairs ● Stock inventory and keep the shop clean and organized ● Ensure that vehicles, trailers, and equipment are safe to operate Results (Expected Accomplishments) ● Keep Operations staff delivering and executing work by minimizing downtime ● Understand vehicle, trailer and equipment history ● Have common inventory readily available ● Ensure safe operating conditions for all users Requirements (Expected Proficiencies) ● High school diploma or equivalency ● Multiple years of industry experience ● Mechanical knowledge ● Ability to maneuver a trailer ● Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record for 5 years ● Must be able to pass a drug test.
