o8o Studio is the founder of the Hurricane Simulator, and we are looking for a Field Technician to join our Team. The Hurricane Simulator Field Technician oversees refurbishing, delivering, and servicing our Hurricane Simulators that are being placed in various types of locations, such as Museums, Zoos, Aquariums, Family Fun Centers, and Trampoline Parks all over the country. We are looking for a person that would be excited about traveling all over our beautiful country, for work. A person that will be out there, meeting and helping o8o Studio customers with their needs. Responsibilities • Deliver and service the Hurricane Simulator machines across the continental USA • Deliver and maintain a positive customer experience • Understanding of the Hurricane Simulator parts and components - specific functions and interactions with training. • Refurbish Hurricane Simulator machines on the road and/or working from our shop • Powder coating applications for Hurricane Simulator parts • Apply Hurricane Simulator graphics • Understand and adhere to DOT rules and regulations (including proficient e-log use) • Maintain safe driving behaviors • Exhibits professionalism and works effectively with other o8o Studio team members • Exhibits high-level personal self-discipline and effective time management to achieve o8o Studio production targets and deliver product within customer deadlines • Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts as required to meet customer deadlines • Consistently and effectively work within policies outlined by o8o Studio team member handbook Qualifications and Requirements • Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT physical • Must be 21 years of age or older • Maintains organized and clean work area • Attention to detail • Willingness to be flexible with trip schedule as required • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (typically around 50%) • Ability to lift, up to 50 to 100 pounds • Overtime Available
