Marimed Foundation is currently in search of an Engineer for the SSV Makani Olu.   This position will be responsible for  -keeping all the ship's systems in order which includes the ship's engine (Caterpillar 3208).   -routine maintenance of Marimed's outboard motors aboard the ship as well as on shore.   -instructing students on basic ship engineering -maintaining a safe work environment This position is vital to the ship and therefore all applicants must provide verifiable proof of experience.   This position will not be required to go underway but must be available to troubleshoot via phone when needed.  Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pmBenefits: Full medical, dental, vision (premiums paid by employer) and 403b once eligible. Paid vacation after 6 months.
