Parking is located next to the Hospitality House (down the alley next to the Ohio Historical Marker), and in the gravel lot across the street. For organizations in Belmont, Coshocton, Guernsey, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, and Washington Counties. Region 10 Draft Agenda: 9:00 Registration 9:30 Welcome 9:45 How to Find and Access Grants Sometimes, the hardest part of writing a grant can be figuring out where to look for funds. This session will go over sources of grant funds, basic tips for writing the grant request, and how to create relationships with your community foundation. Jeff Minosky, Noble County Historical Society; Gwynn Stewart, Community Development Educator, Ohio State University Extension, Noble County 10:45 Networking Break 11:00 Community History Baseball Cards as Outreach This session will explore the Noble County Historical Society’s recent creation of a series of baseball cards about Noble County History, including how they researched and created the cards. The presenter will discuss the ways handing out these cards to museum visitors and others have encouraged visitation to their museums and other county history sites.
