Having left home for good at age 18, he spent the next 11 years stationed aboard Camp Pendleton, CA. During this time, Rob successfully completed seven combat deployments between Iraq and Afghanistan, earning several honors and awards along the way. In 2012, Rob separated from the Marine Corps and pursued his entrepreneurial dreams. He started a food truck, then entered the world of Defense contracting. Every time I get down on myself because I'm not as good as I want to be or as good as some other lead dancer is, I'm reminded of the lessons I learned on the path to becoming a successful investor: perfection is unattainable, just seek excellence... keep improving one move at a time... you're not going to master the skill in one day, just keep practicing!
