The title says it all so let's get to the details: Come meet some new musicians, have fun, and jam til the law says we can't. We've got a stage stocked with equipment every Thursday night (7:30pm) at The Raven (258 Pleasant St, Worcester). This includes: 4-piece drum kit (w/ hi-hats, ride, crash) Fender Bass (DI) Fender Electric Guitar+Amp+Pedalboard Keyboard/Synthesizer (DI) Vocal Mics Galore Hosted by Brandon "Sunshine" Esteves Sign ups available at the bar. ALL SKILL LEVELS AND GENRES WELCOME...so long as you can improvise! ;) want more info? you got it: The Raven is that bar almost every local musician has played at, including come huge names. It offers a space for performers of all skills levels, and for patrons to get some of the best-valued drinks in town. The venue has a big 'ol dance floor, plenty of lights, a very large stage, and proudly boasts an all-analog, old-school, hi-fi sound system. Unfortunately, a fire spread into the venue in early 2020, ruining it. The owner has worked tirelessly to revitalize the space, and he seems to have done an awesome job--it's better than ever! We are finally back open and hope to provide the community with a space to network and grow and musicians on these Thursday nights. Even if you don't jam, it's a great time to just chill at the bar and watch the musicians do their thing. Come support the scene---live music will never die so long as YOU keep it alive :)
