EMERGE Presents: MEMORIES: What Remains(?) “Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory” - Perct Bysshe Shelley This program reflects on that which remains - our perception of experience its lasting imprint. It explores that which we have lost, that which has changed us and how experiences have affected our sense of living. From Beethoven to Golijov, we explore these ideas transformed into sound, creating our own shared memory together. Adagio molto espressivo Osvaldo Golijov: Qohelet ARTS MISSION OAK CLIFF COVID-19 WAIVER OF LIABILITY, RELEASE OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNIFICATION As lawful consideration for my being granted access to Arts Mission Oak Cliff (“FACILITY”), and being permitted to participate in its (“ACTIVITIES”), including but not limited to being allowed to use its offices, rental halls, spectate, observe, work, volunteer, participate in any way, or otherwise be granted entrance to the FACILITY for any reason and by signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the following, on my own behalf, on behalf of any minor accompanying me, and on behalf of my personal representatives, heirs and next of kin, agents, and principals:Evidence has shown that Covid-19 can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses and even death. I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19. I acknowledge that Arts Mission Oak Cliff (hereinafter “AMOC or facility”) has put in place preventative measures to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/Covid-19, including social distancing where possible, increased sanitation efforts, use of face masks and the attestation by all staff and visitors that they are not experiencing any Covid-19 related symptoms while onsite at the facility. I also understand that AMOC cannot guarantee I will not become infected with Covid-19, and that social distancing may not be possible at all times while visiting the facility for any reason or while participating in activities at the facility. I further understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by Covid-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others. I agree to comply with all AMOC procedures, policies, rules, instructions, and signage to reduce the spread of Covid-19 while visiting the facility.Assumption of Risk: I have carefully read and fully understand the above warning concerning Covid-19. Entering the facility and/or participating in activities at AMOC is of such value to me that I hereby choose to voluntarily accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading Covid-19. With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, and discharge AMOC from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of actions whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me or someone in close contact with me, related to Covid-19 while participating in or in connection with the activities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to covid-19. I represent and attest that I am aware of the existence of the risk to my physical well-being and the physical well-being of those in close contact with me due to visiting the facility and my participation in any activities that may cause injury or illness such as, but not limited to, Covid-19.I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AMOC from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to Covid-19. I agree to remove myself from the facility should I begin to experience any symptoms related to Covid-19 for any reason (e.g. allergies), and understand that I may be asked to exit the facility by AMOC staff should I exhibit any symptoms of illness for any reason.By purchasing my ticket, I acknowledge that I have carefully read and fully understand all provisions of this release, and freely and knowingly assume the risk and waive my rights concerning liability as described above.
