Houston Bourbon Society's annual pilgrimage to Ironroot Distilling company is back! IronRoot Republic has decided to open its doors to the Houston Bourbon Society and welcome you folks up to the distillery to learn how to distill. The itinerary for the weekend is below and This is how this will work: Guests will be responsible for getting themselves up to Denison(North of Dallas) as well as back to Houston. There are plenty of AIRBNBs in the area if you want to Bunk together. Friday, Night: We’ll have a get-together either in DFW or at the distillery depending on attendees preference.- Saturday o 10 AM – 11 AM-Grain / Mashing Session- Tour o 11 AM – 1 PM- Pot Still Distilling Session- Heads Cut- Tasting 1 – Heads/Hearts/Tails o 1 PM – 2 PM- LUNCH – Provided by Ironrooto 2 PM – 6 PM- Tasting 2 – Barrel/Wood Type- Tails Cut- Dinner- Tasting 3 - Experimental / Finished Product o 6 PM – 8 PM- Dinnero 8 PM – 10 PM- Cigars / Fun / Shenanigans
