Material Handler Location: Ferndale, WA Pay: to be determined, depending on experience. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM! Responsibilities and qualifications may include: -General production in a food processing facility -Forklift operation to move product -Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly -Loading and unloading products into a truck -Verify products are labeled correctly - Ensure FIFO (First in and First out) is being followed for all products -Connect barrel dumper on a forklift and dump product into totes -Ensure warehouse area is neat and clean and organized at all times -Ensure all the forklifts and high stacker are charged at all times. -Follow instruction provided by Production Lead and Production Supervisor -Level the product filled into the trays -Load product filled trays onto the trolleys -Offload the product from the trays on the trolleys into bags or on the equipment -Carries or hand trucks supplies to workstations -Minimum of 2 years or more of forklift experience -Knowledge of how to properly operate a high-stacker and a scissor lift -experience -Use of tobacco is prohibited in all areas of the premises -Strong time-management skills -Excellent communication skills; oral and written English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus -Flexibility and capacity to manage many responsibilities simultaneously -High prioritization of workflow -Complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately -Detail-oriented and highly organized with proven follow-up capabilities -Flexible to work overtime, including weekends and holidays For confidential consideration, we offer several ways to apply: -Call or text our office at 360-734-2457 for an immediate phone interview. -Complete an online application on our website: www.expresspros.com/apply -Come by our office and talk to one of our Employment Specialists: 4152 Meridian Street Ste 201 Bellingham, WA 98226 -If you do not have time to fill out an application, let us know!
