Join us for a free community event to celebrate the launch of the Webb Telescope! Open to all girls and their families. Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is joining NASA in a nationwide celebration of the James Webb Space Telescope launch. We invite you to join us for a Webb Community Event on January 29, 2022, from 10-11:30 at the Genoa Public Library. Participate in fun activities to learn about science and space and hear from our expert speaker streaming at 11:00 a.m. This event is open to the public, so bring your family, friends, and neighbors. This is a recruitment event for Girl Scouts, so current members are encouraged to bring a friend! Girl Scouts staff will be on site to provide more information about Girl Scouts and assist with membership registrations. Capacity is limited. Other in-person events will take place at the Abrahams Library in Omaha, Morrill Hall in Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Kearney, Hastings Museum, Wayne State College, and Chadron Public Library.
