Please join us to learn how to respond to drug overdose and how to use the life-saving drug Naloxone!
During this event, participants will learn about the current substance use crisis in the United States, how to recognize and respond to a drug overdose, and community resources available locally.
Drug overdoses affect every community and neighborhood in Forsyth County. Former Surgeon General Jerome Adams recently emphasized that you are now more likely to administer Naloxone than perform CPR. Knowing what to do in the event of an overdose will save a life!
This event is hosted at the Green Tree Peer Center in partnership with the Forsyth Regional Opioid and Substance Use Team (FROST). If you have trouble registering, please call Amanda Clark at 336-486-0103.
