Plant Land Garden Center is HIRING for a 🪴Nurseryman Position!🪴 💥Applicants MUST have an extensive knowledge of Perennials, Trees and Shrubs💥 If you have enjoyed working for a Garden Center or worked as a Landscaper we would be interested in visiting with you. Applicants can stop in Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm to fill out an application or bring in a resume. 🌼Base Pay starts at $13 depending on applicants gardening knowledge. 🌿Applicants must be able to work EVERY Saturday, MOST Sundays (Sundays are April - June) and holidays. 🌿Applicants will work 5 full time days, not necessarily in a row. 🌿Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and able to carry 20-30 pounds repeatedly through the length of the greenhouses or outside. 🌿Applicants must be able to demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor. 🌿Applicants must have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. 🌿Applicants must have the ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time on concrete. 🌿Applicants must be able to always represent Plant Land Garden Center in a courteous and professional manner. 🌿Assist customers with garden questions and plant selection both in-store as well as over the phone. 🌿Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task. 🌿Able to work under any weather conditions that might occur throughout the seasons. 🌿Participate in Staff Meetings 🌿Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the greenhouse floors.
