Join us for this easy-to-follow class taught by Deaven Sronce, a local with undergraduate degrees in Botany and Horticulture, and a Masters of Biology + Sugar Grove Growers team member.Your ticket proceeds will go to the preservation of Lincoln County's oldest residence and gardens, historic Britton House . We need your help to maintain this landmark property off Main Street in Troy, MO. Class includes: 75 Minute MO Native Lecture (details below) Simple guide to growing 15+ MO natives in print and digital form Raffle ticket for a $50 Sugar Grove Growers gift certificate 15 Minute Q & A, Ask the Expert Lecture Topics: -Benefits: Insect Benefits, Soil Benefits, & Human Benefits -Growing Natives: Ground Gardens, Raised Bed Gardens, & Container Gardens -Tips for Beginners: Patience with flowering, Times of year to trim or deadhead, Burning, & Resources NOTE: Class must meet minimum of 10 people to proceed. Invite a friend! This is the 1st session of this class. Also available 2/19 10:00am. Class will be held indoors at the Britton House. Proceed through either of the garden gates and enter through the rear of the home.
