Come meet your neighbors, tour the Flashcube, and listen to a KC Streetcar update at the Downtown Neighborhood Association's monthly meeting
KC Streetcar Authority Executive Director Tom Gerend will bring everyone up to speed about the streetcar’s $351-million extension and answer your questions about the project's plan.
Following the presentation, enjoy a tour of the historical Flashcube, which became Kansas City's first structure with an all-glass exterior in 1974, earning its nickname. The 220,000-SF property built for Commerce Bank and renovated in 2020 by Worcester Investment includes a basketball court, rock climbing wall, and bank vaults in the basement.
