Press release from Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce: 2022-01-18 British Vocal Ensemble VOCES8 To Perform in Fort Myers FORT MYERS, FLA., January 17, 2022– British Vocal Ensemble VOCES8 will be in Fort Myers Thursday, February 17, to perform as part of the Fort Myers Community Concert Association 2022 season. VOCES8 will perform at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall on the Fort Myers campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. concert are available at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall by visiting https://barbarabmann.ticketsoffice.org or by calling the box office at 239-481-4849. Prices are $35 for lower balcony and $25 for upper balcony seats. A limited number of orchestra and mezzanine seating is available at $55 each. Since its formation 15 years ago, VOCES8 has performed at major concert venues in Paris, Vienna, Tokyo, Beijing (China), Sydney (Australia), Singapore, Mexico City and many others. VOCES8 is heard regularly on albums, international television and radio, as well as maintaining a vibrant web performance presence. The ensemble's recordings have all reached the top of the classical charts. VOCES8 is passionate about music education and is the flagship ensemble of the music charity, The VOCES8 Foundation. Engaging in a broad range of outreach work that reaches up to 40,000 people a year, the group runs an annual program of workshops and master classes at the foundation's home in London. VOCES8 is the second of five classical performances to be presented this season by the Fort Myers Community Concert Association.
