MERRICK, NY — Police are seeking the person responsible for robbing a gas station on Sunday night. A 63-year-old male clerk was held at gunpoint by an unknown man at the Valero gas station on Jerusalem Avenue, police said. The clerk was ordered to open the register while the man flashed a black handgun, detectives said. He fled the store on foot, last seen running through the parking lot.
