HSU Educational Foundation FieldWerx is offering this 9-week course introducing high school level participants to SolidWorks and 3D Design. It will be held each week on Thursdays from 2:30 pm – 5 pm, at HSU Innovation Institute North.
This course will introduce students to the basic concepts of engineering design. We will go from an idea to a physical object you can hold in your hand, using 3D printers. Through this process, students will be exposed to a new way of prototyping that can easily be achieved in their own home.
Course dates: January 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24 and March 3, 10 from 2:30 – 5 pm.
All high school student participants must be pre-registered to attend.
The HSU Educational Foundation FieldWerx programs provide interactive, shared science and technology courses, classes and events for participants, inspiring excitement while encouraging critical thinking and problem solving. The HSU Educational Foundation FieldWerx programs are sponsored in part by Gulf Power, Boeing, AFRL, MAG and the HSU Educational Foundation Stakeholders.
