Join the HSU Foundation FieldWerx for this new course – Introduction to Linex Operating System, which will expose participants to the Linux operating system (OS). The Linux OS powers much of the technology we use every day, such as internet servers which include cloud-based offerings by Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. Linux is also the operating system used aboard the International Space Station. This course will cover the basic Linux OS skills that will provide a foundation for you to go even deeper into the world of Linux if you choose to do so. This course starts with the basics, builds your skills and knowledge, and eventually may help you become a competitive candidate for future job positions. The HSU Educational Foundation Workforce Development Partner for this course is the Okaloosa Technical College OTC. Course dates: January 13, 20 and 27 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
