Who is conducting the study and what is this study about?:
Researchers from the psychology department at Colorado State University are recruiting participants for a study to examine how cannabis use impacts alcohol consumption, and how both of these substances impact the gut, the brain and behavior
Who can join this study?:
You can participate in this study if you are an adult (aged 21+) who drinks alcohol and smokes flower cannabis regularly.
Why should I join this study?:
This study serves to benefit the public by increasing our understanding of how cannabis use impacts the brain and body. The study will also give you a chance to examine your own substance use behavior.
What will I be asked to do?:
You will be asked to come to the first appointment at our lab on campus (for ~1hr) as well as two appointments that will take place in our mobile laboratory (for approx. 4.5-5.5 hours) which will come to your place of residence. We will also ask you to complete a short daily survey (3 minutes/day) over the course of 4-weeks. You can earn up to $246 for participating in all aspects of the study.
