Abstract Art Classes for seniors with cognitive challenges

In 2 weeks Lutheran Community Services, Tacoma, starts another session of Opening Minds through Art a 6 week abstract art class for people with dementia and other cognitive challenges. We have classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Sign up now as spaces are going fast. This is FREE, and ONLINE through Zoom. All supplies are free and delivered to your house. The artist needs a caregiver to be their partner and training is provided. No experience in art necessary for either the artist or the caregiver. This is a great activity for your loved one to get positive socialization, utilize the creativity they retain, and give you one hour weekly of positive memory making. At the end of the six weeks we do an online art show, also through zoom. We also offer a free, online, Music and Memories class. Contact info on flyer for both classes.
